As a professional archery athlete, you will change the bowstring before the competition, change it when it is broken, and change it when it becomes too fuzzy.
Professional teams train every day, and change it every three months or six months. It depends on the individual. Generally, the bowstring will become fuzzy during this period. If you are too lazy to change it, there are many bowstrings that can last for a year. You can wax it when you have nothing to do.
Professional athletes usually change it more frequently during the competition period, and continue to use it when it is not bad. When the volume is high, you can shoot 5,000 arrows in two weeks, and more than 4,000 in a week (this is a rare case).
During that period, you don’t want to change the bowstring at all. If the bowstring hair becomes like dogtail grass, you can just wax it. Changing the string according to the number of arrows is tiring, so you just wind the string for fun.
