Why do traditional archers miss their target after practicing with recurve bows

Today I saw a video of a blogger who said that after switching from traditional bows to recurve bows , he could not shoot with traditional bows accurately anymore, and would hit his arm. After watching his video, I found that the blogger was really good at shooting with traditional bows. Then I watched his video of practicing recurve bows . In the comments below, a friend pointed out that the string pulling technique was not right. The blogger replied that he did not pay attention to it. This should be what everyone often says that masters cannot handle different bow types, but there are also friends who can handle different bow types.
Search for information online to see how everyone understands this thing, or if there are any articles in this regard to solve the confusion. I have been looking for it for a long time but have not found it. I have read many articles and will tell you what I understand:

1. The shooting methods of recurve bows and traditional bows are different.
Traditional bows usually use the Mongolian shooting method. The Mongolian shooting method uses a thumb ring to release. Single-finger force may be more difficult for large-pound bows and arrows, which affects the accuracy of shooting. The Mongolian shooting method has a larger pull distance, which makes the bow very full, thus helping to increase the power of the bow and arrow. Nomadic people rely on this to eat and survive, and they focus on the power of the bow and arrow. As for the leaning position, it can only be said that it is generally pulled behind the ear when the bow is full, and the arm and shoulder are not required to be close. It is all about experience. There is no such thing as leaning position. The formation of muscle memory complements the aiming method mentioned below. So the traditional bow is a state of tension, and you have to keep working hard without relying on anything.

The recurve bow is a Mediterranean shooting method. The Mediterranean shooting method uses three fingers to hook the string. The three-finger hook has a larger force area than the single-finger force, and can pull a bow with a larger poundage, and the accuracy will also be better. The recurve bowThere are more requirements for the shooting technique. The back elbow tip, forearm, wrist, back of hand and arrow are in a straight line. When the bow is fully drawn, the upper arm and forearm of the bow hand are clamped together, and the back hand is firmly positioned on the side of the cheek or under the chin. This shooting method has standard shooting posture and positioning (just like the franchised restaurants now do not need chefs to do which part without seconds. Of course, archery is not something that everyone can practice well, otherwise they would all be Olympic champions), so the shooting accuracy is relatively high. Compared with traditional bow shooting, recurve bow shooting is a relaxed state after the full bow is positioned.

2. The aiming method of recurve bows and traditional bows is different. The aiming method of
traditional bows is generally to find a reference point and adjust according to the reference point to achieve the purpose of accurate shooting. Combined with the above shooting method, the traditional bow is likely to shoot the first arrow inaccurately, but experienced archers will definitely shoot the second arrow accurately. The aiming of
the recurve bow is the standard three-point line shooting. After the recurve bow is positioned, the arrow point and the arrow shaft are in a line, and the aiming point and the target are in a line along the arrow shaft to form a three-point line. What I want to say here is don't force yourself to draw the bow, how can you relax after you draw it? Also, don't think that the poundage is too small, let's put it this way, the recurve bows that our company buys are mostly between 25 and 50.

I think the biggest difference or the reason for hitting the arm and shooting off target should be these two points. For an experienced archer, the others should be very familiar and there will be no big difference.
I have a question, I don't know what it will be like to practice recurve bows first and then practice traditional bows and then come back to shoot recurve bows ?
