1. Determine the poundage before purchasing a bow: the entry-level poundage for hunting is between 30-40 pounds; every 5 pounds is an increment. For beginners, choosing a small poundage is of great help in improving archery performance, which is very conducive to the development of standard posture and muscle fixation.

2. Determine the draw length before purchasing a bow: The following is a method for measuring the draw length, and the length of the draw length is in inches.

3. It is strictly forbidden to release the bow in the air: drawing the bow and releasing it without an arrow on the empty string may easily cause accidents such as bow damage and injury.

4. Please use the bow according to the draw length of the custom bow or the draw length required by the bow manufacturer's production standards; do not overdraw, which may cause the deformation of the bow to debond or damage the bow.

5. Do not aim at people or animals after drawing the bow and loading the arrow to avoid unnecessary harm; bows and arrows are deadly weapons, so please use them in absolute safety.

6. After stringing, check whether the string is in the string groove or on the center line of the bow piece before using it, otherwise it may cause the bow to flip (twist the piece) or deviate slightly.

7. Arrow selection and inspection: 0.6-0.65 grams per pound. It is forbidden to use light arrows or damaged arrows, which may hurt the bow and archer.

8. Do not leave the bow in high temperature, high cold and humid places for a long time. (Such as: car trunk, sun exposure or extremely low temperature or rain and other humid environments, otherwise it will affect the service life.)

9. It is forbidden to hang the string for a long time. Any bow will be fatigued, twisted and lose weight if the string is hung for a long time.

10. How to use and distinguish the split bow pieces: the fastening screws must be locked and cannot be loosened; the way to distinguish the upper and lower bow pieces is that the data is written on the lower bow piece.

11. Maintenance of the string: The string should be checked frequently, and the habit of waxing regularly can extend the service life of the bow string. If the string is broken, it is forbidden to use it and a new bow string must be replaced.

12. Bow string must be used for stringing. It is forbidden to use stringing methods such as looking back at the moon (such stringing methods are prone to deviation and twisting). The small string ear of the bow string is hung below the bow, and the large string ear is hung above the bow.

13. Determination of the arrow point: See the figure below. RF and CF are the hand-throwing arrow points; CR is the compound bow arrow point

14. The bow stop (string distance) is adjusted (twisting the string) according to the data provided by the bow merchant.
