New bow in hand

First:

Check the accessories, generally including the handle, matching tools, limbs, bowstrings, and other side pads and balance rods. Focus on checking whether the limbs and handles are new and whether the sockets are damaged.

Second:

Study the instructions carefully and remember the required brace height according to the size of the limbs and handles you ordered.

Third:

Look at the limbs up and down. Don't install them upside down. The text on the inside of the lower limb is generally more complicated.

Fourth:

After inserting the limbs, remember not to screw the screws out of curiosity. The handles and limbs are adjusted when they leave the factory. The limbs only need to be inserted. Don't try to fix the limbs by screwing the screws on the handle. This is equivalent to adjusting the additional force of the limbs. The handle screws of kap also have the function of adjusting the angle of the limbs. Once they are adjusted, it is quite troublesome for beginners to adjust them back. When the limbs are inserted, there will be a "click" sound. At this time, when you shake the limbs, there will be a few millimeters of gap, and you will feel that it is not very stable. In fact, this is correct. There will be no problem after the bowstring is set. Remember, here we are talking about the bow handle and limbs with inserted limbs, such as KAP's winstar and most bows of SAMICK, WIN&WIN, and HOYT. If it is a KAP ps type bow handle with screws to fix the limbs, it is another matter.

Fifth: Stringing the bow

The bowstring is also divided into upper and lower parts. The string ears at both ends of the bowstring are of different sizes, and the larger ones are generally on the top. Before stringing the bowstring, you need to twist the bowstring several times. The manufacturer recommends twisting it once every 2-3 inches of the bowstring length. After stringing the bowstring, measure the bow stop to see if the height is within the recommended range in the manual. After installation, pull the bowstring about ten centimeters and eject it. On the one hand, you can position the limbs by ejecting, and on the other hand, listen to whether there is any noise. If there is noise or noise when shooting, you can raise the bow stop, that is, turn the bowstring a few more times to adjust the bow stop.

Sixth:

Put up the bow, check whether the bowstring is aligned with the two screws on the upper and lower parts of the bow handle, and then install other accessories. Generally, it is the height difference between the arrow stand and the bowstring arrow button, the position and hardness of the arrow side pad.

After all are installed in place, you can test shoot. During this period, pay attention to whether the sight and balance bar are tightened in place, otherwise there will be noise.

Remember: Don't easily tighten any screws on the bow handle and the bow piece after getting the bow, and don't try to use the screws on the bow handle to press the bow piece, otherwise it will cause the upper and lower bow pieces to mismatch the strength, the bow body will tilt when the bow is opened, and the bowstring will not be centered, and it will take a lot of time to adjust it back.
