Recurve bow drawing practice requires skill. Once the bow is drawn, there is no arrow that can be retrieved. In addition to persistence, you must also pay attention to the posture of the action. After the bow is raised and stabilized, use the strength of the two shoulder strap muscles to use the method of front support and back pull to extend the shortest distance to draw the bow. Drawing the bow is an important part of the basic posture and action of archery, so you should do the following:
1. The drawing distance should be accurate. After the bow is drawn, the signal piece should be pressed on a fixed position of the arrow, otherwise it will destroy the rhythm of the overall action of shooting an arrow.
2. The front sight should accurately enter the center of the yellow. When the bow is fully drawn (that is, the bowstring is in place), the front sight is aimed at the center of the yellow, and no second movement and aiming is performed.
3. To be stable means that there should be a stable process after the bow is raised. In the process of drawing the bow, this stable state should also be maintained.
4. To be decisive means to boldly and decisively draw the bow, without any worries in mind when drawing the bow. The ancients said "draw the bow in anger", which also has this meaning. There are three main points in recurve bow archery skills, which are:
1. Hook the bowstring at the first knuckle of the hand.
2. Prepare for opening the bow, relax the wrist and forearm at the same time, clamp the upper arm after relaxation, and use the strength of the upper arm to pull back to the resting position.
3. After resting in place, check whether the wrist is flat. It cannot be turned outward or tightened inward. (Turning out and tightening are both wrong actions that will affect the quality of the string hook and the consistency of release).
