Unstable standing posture, feet not parallel
Unstable standing is a taboo in archery! Remember to stand with your feet parallel and shoulder-width apart to keep your body stable.
The body is crooked and the arrow will also go off track
Keep your body straight, don't lean! When shooting arrows, your body is like a ruler, you have to keep it straight so that the arrow can fly to the center of the target along the correct track. If the body is crooked, the arrow will also go off track.
Holding the bow too tightly with your left hand, shrugging your shoulders and sore arms
Holding the bow should be relaxed, don't be too nervous, hold the bow gently with your left hand, don't shrug your shoulders, and don't use too much force on your arms. If you hold it too tightly, your arms will be tired and sore.
When drawing the bow, hook your fingers too tightly and the arrow is easy to fall
When drawing the bow, hook the bowstring gently with three fingers, don't be too tight! If your fingers are hooked too tightly, the arrow may fall due to uneven force.
The position of the finger hooking the string is too deep or too shallow
Too deep will cause the entire hooking hand to exert force, and at the same time will lengthen the movement process of the release action, destroying the coordination of the release action. Although a shallow hooking of the string is beneficial to the release process, it will also cause the opposite effect-slipping of the string, especially the ring finger sliding the string, which is a very harmful action.
The left arm is forced to support the bowstring and the bowstring hits the hand
The left arm should maintain a certain degree of bending, don't force it! If you force it, the bowstring may hit the arm, which is not good.
After the bowstring is pulled to the end, the right hand is suspended in the air
When pulling the bowstring, the right hand should follow the force, don't let it hang there! If the right hand does not participate in the force, the arrow may not fly to the center of the bull's eye due to insufficient force. After the bow is opened, the index finger and the middle finger clamp the tail of the arrow too tightly. If the index finger exerts too much force, the arrow shaft will bend; if the middle finger exerts too much force, the arrow shaft will be lifted off the arrow stand. Treatment method: Before opening the bow, there should be sufficient space between the two fingers. After drawing the bow, two fingers gently rest on the tail of the arrow, and no finger should put pressure on the arrow.
Not concentrating when aiming and closing the wrong eye
When aiming, be focused, don't be distracted, and don't close the wrong eye! If you close the wrong eye, the arrow may deviate from your sight and aim.
Fingers are bent when releasing the arrow, and the arrow is crooked
Before releasing the arrow, the string cannot slide, and the athlete may force it not to slide and cause the string to be pressed. This will not only make the hand that hooks the string stiff, but also cause tension in the entire action, resulting in the phenomenon of "internal combination" of force. Some wrong actions that occur when releasing are directly related to it. When releasing the arrow, open your fingers quickly, and don't release the arrow with your fingers bent, otherwise the arrow will fly crookedly.
