Today we are going to find out the common mistakes in archery and the corresponding countermeasures.
Standing action
1. Unstable feet If the feet are not stable, the whole body will feel weak. When this happens, the archer will feel that the soles of the feet are not solid. Correction method: adjust the position of the whole body, stand firmly, do the heel lift movement, stand again, so that the joints of the whole body and the feet stand more solidly. 2. The body weight moves to the heels, which will cause the body to lean back and cause the force to be inward. Correction method: The weight should be evenly placed on the two feet, the center of gravity should be slightly moved forward, and the front of the foot should be slightly more forceful. Prevent the body from leaning back during the process of raising and opening the bow, and keep the body weight evenly on the two feet.
3. The two feet are not equally strong. After this error occurs, the body will tilt left and right, destroying the symmetrical force of the two arms. Correction method: Pay attention to maintaining the initial standing posture, and pay special attention to the changes in the body position during the process of raising and opening the bow. When raising the bow, due to the change in the posture of the two arms, the center of gravity of the body will also change, which will cause the weight to move to one side and also cause changes in the body posture. When drawing the bow, this phenomenon often occurs: as the draw distance increases, the body's center of gravity tends to move to the side of the bow. Therefore, special attention should be paid to maintaining the body's center position during the process of drawing and drawing the bow, so that the weight always falls evenly on both feet.
4. No fixed standing position and standing method Some archers do not have a fixed standing position on the shooting line. Some always move their feet after shooting an arrow, and even move their feet after drawing the bow. Some standing postures of their feet are not fixed, sometimes like this, sometimes like that. These are some wrong actions and bad habits, which should be resolutely corrected. Because the standing posture and standing position of the feet change, the body posture will inevitably change accordingly, so that a good dynamic stereotype cannot be formed. Correction method: You should have your own fixed standing position and standing method on the shooting line to ensure the consistency of the standing posture.
Bow pushing action
1. Low bow pushing method (1) The force point of the bow pushing is not in the middle of the radiocarpal joint but in the lower part, forming a bow pushing at the base of the palm, which makes the force point of the bow pushing far away from the center of the bow. In this way, the bow cannot be ejected in parallel during shooting, but the lower part of the bow will be ejected first, which affects the normal flight of the arrow and easily causes the arrow to be too high. (2) Although the force point of pushing the bow does not change much, the direction of the force has changed. It is not completely horizontal, but a downward pressure is generated. In this way, the bow does not pop out in parallel during shooting, but the upper part of the bow pops out first, forming the wrong action of the bow "nodding", which affects the normal flight of the arrow and easily causes the arrow to be too low. Correction method: Pay attention to the initial push of the bow and do it in the right position. After the bow is opened, always keep the force in the horizontal direction to prevent the push and push force of the push hand. 2. The flexor muscles of the fingers are involved in holding the bow. When the flexor muscles of the fingers are involved in holding the bow, the entire push hand will become very tense. This not only affects the correct force of the push hand itself, but also affects the forward force of the entire bow holding arm, which is easy to cause the wrong action of the bow holding arm to retract. Correction method: The flexor muscles of the push hand should be relaxed to the maximum extent, and the fingers should neither bend nor straighten them. 3. The front end of the forearm of the bow holding arm enters the plane of the bow too deeply, and the bow handle is located on the left side of the longitudinal axis of the forearm, so that the center of the radiocarpal joint leaves the center of the bow. This makes pushing the bow less laborious, but it changes the direction of the force of the bow holding arm. Correction method: First, it is necessary to push the bow in the right position, and secondly, to maintain the direction of the force of the front support linear force.
String hooking action
1. After opening the bow, the index finger and the middle finger clamp the arrow tail too tightly
Some index fingers use too much force to bend the arrow shaft. Some middle fingers use too much force, which makes the arrow shaft tilt off the arrow stand. Correction method: Before opening the bow, the two fingers should not clamp the arrow tail tightly, and sufficient space should be left. After opening the bow, the two fingers can gently lean on the arrow tail, but no finger should put pressure on the arrow. 2. The position of the finger hooking the string too deep or too shallow or too deep will cause the entire hooking hand to be tense, and at the same time lengthen the movement process of the release action, destroying the coordination of the release action. Although a shallow hook is beneficial to the release process, it can also have the opposite effect. Too shallow will cause the string to slide, especially the ring finger, which is a very harmful action. Correction method: Before the release action, the string cannot slide, otherwise the shooter will force it not to slide, resulting in string compression, which will not only make the hook hand stiff, but also cause tension in the entire action, resulting in "internal combination" of force, and some wrong actions during release are directly related to it.

Although everyone's actions such as leaning on the position when playing the beauty hunter are different, wrong actions should still be avoided so that you can shoot more accurately.
