Before debugging the bow and arrow, the necessary assembly preparations must be made first.

1 Arrow Nose

Regarding the position of the arrow nose, first install a movable arrow point on the bowstring. Initially, use a T-shaped bow ruler to fix the upper edge of the arrow nose at a position 1.3 cm from the horizontal line. When debugging the arrow later, determine the exact position of the arrow nose according to the height of the bare arrow.

2 Arrow Rest

The installation of the arrow rest must be firm, and the fulcrum of the arrow rest should be kept horizontal or slightly higher. From a bird's-eye view, the support arm of the arrow rest should not be seen extending out of the outer end of the arrow shaft.

3 Arrow Side Pad

First, adjust the spring of the arrow side pad to a moderate strength to ensure that the arrow is in the middle of the arrow side pad. During later debugging, adjust the hardness of the arrow side pad according to the left and right deviation of the bare arrow.

4 Signal Sheet

The pressure should be moderate. It is not good to be too loose or too tight. It is recommended to control the angle at 90°.

5 Determination of the bow stop

Use a T-shaped bow stop ruler to measure the distance between the center bow stop and the distance between the upper and lower bow pieces. According to the individual differences of each person, the length of the arrow and the model, adjust and record them according to the height recommended by the manufacturer. Suggestion: The height of the bow stop is generally kept between 22.3cm and 23.4cm, and the difference between the upper and lower bow pieces is generally kept between 2mm and 6mm.

6 Adjust the poundage of the bow

Adjust the poundage of the bow according to the height of the bow stop and the difference between the upper and lower bow stops. The poundage of the bow should also be adjusted according to the model and length of the arrow.

7 Determine the center position of the bow piece

Put the bow on a chair and observe the shadow of the bow string to adjust it. The bow piece, bow handle, and shockproof rod should be on the center line. This is a relatively standard debugging method. If it is not on the center line, you need to adjust the adjustment bolt on the bow handle to make the string pass through the center of the bow piece.

8 Determine the position of the arrow on the bow

Put the tail of the arrow on the nock, put the arrow shaft on the arrow rest, align the string with the center of the upper and lower bow pieces, and make the center line of the arrow head of the arrow shaft fall between 3mm and 4.5mm outside the string, that is, the arrow head is 1/3 of the left side of the bow handle.
